Oil on canvas — 120 × 180 cm — 2026 Le Sentier des Fleurs was inspired by the naturalistic gardens of Dutch designer Piet Oudolf. His approach brings together seemingly spontaneous groups of flowers and plants, allowing each to have its own character while still becoming part of a harmonious whole. This idea became the starting point for the painting. Rather than carefully controlling the position and shape of every flower, the artist allowed the composition to develop more freely. Individual elements could appear almost random, while together creating balance, movement, and harmony. The work also marked a personal shift in the artist’s approach to painting. ”I used to paint hyperrealism, and I loved it, but there was always so much control. Every stroke had to be in the right place, every shape had to be perfect. With this painting, I wanted to go with the flow, not worry about every small detail, and focus on the harmony of the whole.
